I just got it today...Yayo grabbed first, he is halfway through...I get it when he's done. I'm savoring this moment of knowing nothing about the 7th book. I get all choked up knowing that this is the final installment.

Bless thee J.K. Rowling. She be a big hero of mine.

Yayo on page 252...he's not talking...good. What I have always loved about Ms. Rowlings books is that my boy's reading skills just soar...

Ahh you speak to someone who is on perpetual budget...hence the reason two copies are never in the equation. Though Ms. Rowling is one of my top heroines in life, I sadly have not had a bank account even a 167th of hers. So...I shall read when boy sleeps or boy does chores. Surely I can catch up to where he is lickety split.

Saw Order of the Phoenix yesterday...that Gary Oldham never ceases to..um..make me well you know...especially with a wizardry, disheveled kind of..ahem...I'm sure you will understand...my personal apples have yet to fall far from my secret tree.

Curses always dancing with the proverbial devil I am.

Oh yeah, the movie! Somehow, I plum forgot about the movie in all the book mania. I SAW it! I feel like I need to see it again, however, as I was a little too distracted by what wasn't there.

Mr. Oldham does look quite lovely in his roguish, wizardy guise. Of course, there is that other lovely, Mr. Rickman -- not that they ever show nearly enough of Snape in the movies. Whatchagonnadoo?

We KNOWS about your tree, precious.

Heart you!

Oh my, Snape...Snape!!!! What is it about the delicate balance between Alan Rickman and Trent Reznor that is sooooo gal dang appealing in all the naughty ways possible.

Oh what is it about the emotionally retarded in tight pants that is so utterly attractive....Snape...I love Snape.

i dared not click on this link, lest secrets be revealed!
I finished last night....

we also had one copy between joanne and i, she read it first and i admire her ability to keep the poker face at the end so as not to spoil it for me. i, however, was a shambles.

(when the last book came out a random post on teh internets revealed the surprise, so I was keen to avoid anything that might reveal the slightest of hints.)

I don't want to spill any beans but am dying to see what you thought. tallu, are you through? is it safe to speak?

Long live the boy who read...

I cried, and cried and cried and laughed...bless thine Mrs. Weasley and her meeting with Bellatrix. It is safe to speak, but we all most be careful not to reveal for those who have not read.

I was gettin' new tires yesterday and reading my beloved Hallows. While waiting a father and son walked in to the waiting room. In the corner of my eye, I saw the slightest hint of orange wrapper around a rather large book under the boy's arm. I looked up and smiled. He looked back at me and said. "hey Lady you're reading the same book, I'm on chapter two"

I was on chapter 22 and turned to him and said: "You're gonna love it, kid. You're really gonna love it!"

He blushed and opened his book.

Give your wife big hugs from me for being a poker face.
