Fangirl Yaye Discovers Brechtian Punk Cabaret

I love EVERYTHING about The Dresden Dolls! A power duo; female (Amanda) and male (Brian). Bold, idiosyncratic song structures. Equally cheesed off, irreverant, edgy and hilarious. These are my kind of peeps.

WARNING: This video contains adult language, some naked bottom and a dollop of pubes. Oh yeah, there is also pseudo slo-mo violence (god, I love the way Brian runs in slo-mo). I HIGHLY recommend watching ANY of their other videos; they're all just brilliant!!!

P.S.: "Spencer" refers to Spencer Smith, the drummer for PANIC! at the Disco.

Who's the King of Animals in Africa?

This on goes out to my darlin' Yaye. We are working together now and actually had a double date in CT with husbands for the FIRST TIME EVER. A wonderful time was had and next time, Yaye and Tallulah shall steal away for numerous cups o' joe and hardy giggles. Who knows, maybe they will finally start their famed screen play of 20 years ago.

Yaye why do I write in third person? Is that a sign of mental illness? Probably...could be my lot in life. You know, Kimba was an awfully cute critter but my passion then on UHF was Speed Racer. Does this mean that I was into anime before my son?

Tallulah luvs to Ear from U

Okay where are I.Q. , Harmony, Courage, and Joy now? Good grief, what time waster journey am I about to embark on...This is why I have such a love hate relationship with the dang internet webs... I'm off to see what I can find...

....I'm back....what did I find? well....

How can it be that the dude who played I.Q. (John McIndoe) is 60 years old? How can he be older than my husband? Who actually isn't too far behind the ol' bugaloo... How can that be? The others, I must confess can say no more, but I did spend a good 15 minutes on: www.bugaloos.com.

Go ahead, check it out for yourself and then you'll feel like a giant goob just like I do. really seriously...go and take a look then let me know how you feel.

Tallulah's Coo Coo Kookiest, Kick Kick Kickiest Addition

Ahhh the 70s, not only did 90% of my friends grow up in a single mother latchkey household way back when, but we all watched and loved these shows. It is no wonder why we've traveled the paths we have.

I never put the correlation between lids and LIDS for Lidsville, it is quite obvious in hindsight, that the producers, art directors, and other staff members had smoked many a lid developing this show. I bless them.
